New technology at Action Read!

Action Read has some new tools to help you learn.

Franklin Merriam-Webster's Talking Electronic Dictionary: When you come across a word that you don't understand, type it in to the talking dictionary. It will speak the word to you, and will display the definition on its screen.

Key to Access: 10 adaptive software programs in 1 device! It's on a USB key so you can take it with you and use it on any computer. Includes scan and read, text-to-audio (like Kurzweil), universal e-text reader (like Read & Write Gold), word prediction software (like Word Q), an electronic dictionary and thesaurus, and more!

Dragon Naturally Speaking version 9: Speak into a microphone, and Dragon will type exactly what you say into the computer! You can also use Dragon voice commands for formating, surfing the web, and making your way around the Windows desktop. If you've been frustrated by previous versions of Dragon that had trouble recognizing what you say, try the new edition - it's way better.

If you are interested in these programs and gadgets, please ask Kimm for more information. I'll hook you up.
