My review of the movie the Freedom Writers
This is my review of the movie that was shown on July 15th. This movie was about a teacher who had a class of troubled kids that came from different ethnic backgrounds. The first thing she noticed was that every student stuck with their own kind. When she saw that, she came up with an idea of putting tape on the floor of her class room and when she asked questions they had to step on the line. After awhile the kids realized that they weren't all that different. After a few days the kids started to get along and they wanted to learn about trusting each other. They had a desire to learn about the holocaust. Meanwhile the teacher was getting a into hot water with the rest of the staff because they didn't think that these kids could learn. She got so involved with the class that her marriage was affected and she got divorced. It was a very good movie because it taught me that everyone has problems but we are still the same inside. I loved it.
